  • FS: C5 Brakes

    I've got a set of Rotors and pads (all 4) off a 03 C5 with 10K miles. The owner swapped to Z51 C6 brakes. I also have the front caliper brackets as the rears are sold.

    What else would would someone need to install this on a 4th gen?

      Looking at UMI's conversion Kit it seems you'd need the conversion brackets and I believe the rears fit with the stock 4th gen f-body calipers but am not 100% sure.

                    I'd probably need new spindles too. I run 4-lug hubs/spindles...

                      longshot but would front rotors just bolt right up using stock fbody calipers, etc.? I need new front rotors, stock fbodies blow with added horsepower.

                        I'm not really sure, the rotors themselves aren't that much bigger. Let me do some reaserach and I'll let you know.

                          well it looks like it won't work The C5 rotors are 1'" bigger than f body ones and require the complete conversion to run.

                          Regardless this is still a steal for a great portion of the kit and I'm sure you could find calipers and the conversion brackets and be well under the 1K full conversion price.
