  • FS: 7 MO black labrador *Free*

    Hi guys,

Some of you know my situation some of you may not. I am being forced to move and I am moving in with my friends family. As per the agreement to allow us to stay, we must get rid of our dog Nova. So I am offering him for free to a good home.

    Here is Nova!

Nova is a family dog, very docile and loyal. He is extremely loving and attentive. He is also very smart and responsive. He loves to go for walks and is very good with kids and other animals. He is currently an outdoor dog as I was never allowed to bring him indoors.

However, I know he does very well on long road trips and sleeps most of the time. At night I let him sleep in our car to stay warm and he does well there. I am sure he would do just as well in a dog house or potentially indoors.

He rarely barks, only when there are people around the house so he would be great for home security as he has a loud bark, but he is very meek so he does not nor would he bite.

I have tried the local humane societies and friends and family with no luck. There are simply too many animals without homes here. I really would rather keep him, but since I am living under the kindness of others I do not have that option.

I will deliver him with food and dog accessories and do whatever I can to help ease the transition. If any of you could help or know of someone who could please contact me ASAP. If you have any questions call me.

    Thank you very much!

    -Ben

Unfortunately, the dog belonged to my inlaws and they did not attend to his needs very well. But should you decide you want him, I will contribute what I can to help. I can't give much because I am unemployed but I will do what I can. I would be glad to bring him to Three Rivers if you are confident you can help. I am currently in the middle of the move right now.

My dog Nova is approximately 7 months old. This is the puppy I most closely associate with. If you would like a dog I think I can help you both as my in laws are looking to get rid of theirs too. However Colonel, Nova's brother is not very social since I was forbidden to work with him.

Also, one of the people that adopted one of the puppies, a very petite female has mentioned that they may need to get rid of their dog too. So really you can have your choice.

        Call me please!

Sold! Dog went to good home today. New owner was so impressed with him last night that they kept him overnight and said they wanted him. Thanks!

Why are you being forced to move, Ben? Did you live with your parents or with your girlfriend?

Actually we were living with my fiancee's parents. I made the choice to move out because neither me nor Jen felt safe being around her parents any longer. Lets just say Jen's family has a history of mood disorders and violence as well as a handy don't ask, don't tell policy.

I have probably already said too much but I think you get the idea.

Yeah it has been. I find myself getting really depressed about it and trying to blame myself for it. Even though I know and everyone around me tells me that I didn't do anything wrong. But Nick's folks have been really good to us and for that I am truly thankful. Of course we do what we can to help out around the house and we stay out of the way as best we can. Its been working out fine but I want to get our own place ASAP so as not to be a burden.

It really just makes me sick to think about it. I mean 5 years ago I was the "golden boy" around these people I could do no wrong, they could not stop talking about me. Jen's grandmother use to tell me that I was her favorite grandson! Me a stranger her favorite! But ever since I lost my job and can't find work they act like I am some piece of crap stuck to their shoe.

But thats not the worst of it. I really feel bad for Jen, because she was brainwashed for her whole life by these people. We are trying to get some counseling for her P.T.S.D but we can't afford it and Jen's mom has been doing everything in her power to keep Jen from talking about what happened to her.

I just hope everything works out with the Guard so we can get our own place and forget about these people and their hateful ways.

I guess today is as good a day as any to thank your lucky stars for all the good people and things in our lives.
