  • FS: Nikon D50 DSLR

I need to pay some bills here so my camera is up for grabs. This is a 6.1MP camera and Nikon has always been the choice of top photographers. The camera is in pristine shape and was always well cared for. I will include everything that came with it including two lenses (18-55 DX kit lens and 55-22 telephoto) as well as a polarizing filter and a UV filter. I also have a carrying case I'll sell for $20 and a 2 GB SD card for $10.

    • 6.1MP
    • 3D Color Matrix with 420 pixel RGB CCD Color
    • High Performance built in flash with i-TTL control
    • 5-Area auto focus with dynamic AF
    • Continuous shooting at 2.5 frames per second
    • Supports Pic Bridge
    • 1/4000 sec shutter speed

I'm looking for $400 firm for the camera and lenses.

Do you know of the differences between the D40 and the D50? I was looking for a D40 for myself for Christmas, but this might just be the ticket!

The D40 is the newer model. Same resolution. D40 has a few more features. I don't like it as much as my D50 because the D40 is much smaller. I think they may be trying to appeal to more women with grip and size of the D40.

Can I get some pictures of the camera and lens? Are there any dirty spots on the CCD, or dark spots that appear in images? How long have you had it? Roughly how many shots? Do you have any recent native pictures I could see?

Yeah I'll get some shots later when Nick wakes up. No dirt spots that I've seen. I bought the camera last year. I am not sure the number of shots, but it must be a high number. I use the camera on almost a daily basis with no problems.

I am not sure what a "Native shot" is but here are some recent pics I've taken...

By native I meant anything at its native resolution ~3000x2000, sorry about that, now that I reread what I said it didnt exactly make a whole lot of sense, lol.

This is a great deal, I know Ben has much more than his asking price invested in this kit. . . For everything it comes with, it's a great deal!
