  • SBC 062 Vortec heads and intake complete setup

I have a set of 062 vortec small block chevy heads that im selling. I just went through the heads and lapped the valves, so they're ready to go. They have double valve springs with 10 degree locks, arp 3/8 screw in studs, comp cams guide plates and roller tip rockers. Im also including the vortec specific edelbrock performer rpm intake, pushrods and a set of centerbolt valve covers. So now all you need is a cam and you've got a pretty healthy top end set up. Im asking $450 firm. Will trade for ls1 parts or 4th gen f body parts.

Would these heads work on an LT1?

Edit: Nevermind, just realized these are for gen I.

              I may be interested...

Are these ready to be installed? Would these be a good choice for my Gen 1 355 block? Also would you be willing to meet somewhere in between?

A little more info, the block I'm working with is a 3970010 4 bolt. Anybody know if I can use these heads?

Not 100% sure, but these are later Vortec heads and won't match up to your water jackets and bolt patterns...could be wrong...

Yea, these heads would work good on that. They will fit any small block chevy excluding, lt1 ls1 obviously. The vortec heads are unique compared to older sbc heads because there are a different number of intake bolts and they go staright down instead of on an angle. Thats why the intake has to be used. let me know if your intersted though.

450 is a good deal with the intake, valve covers, and valve train i have a similar vortec setup on my car with a gen 1 small block. and it was a big improvement. you just need to make sure you get the right intake gaskets i went to three places and ended up having to special order them. good luck
