  • Got a Motor

    Hey guys i have a 97 LS1 motor out of a vette with 17k on it...it's a complete motor with
    injectors and coils. has water pump, pullies, and ac compressor but no
    alternator or power steering pump.

    I am looking for 2500 please no low ballers.

    Located in West Michigan

                If you were willing to break it into payments I'd be very very interested, but I doubt you want to do payments that I could afford. Maybe you hold onto the motor while I make payments and then when it's all paid off I'd get the motor?

                  Lots of truth to that statement...97's are the least desirable and FWIW that price is on the high side.

                  I bought a zero mile 99 crate LS1 for $3K 2 years ago for comparison purposes....not trying to bust your balls but you might have some more interest if you dropped your price a little.

                        Thanks for the Pm on this one, but when i buy an ls1 i want to but a complete drop out, with trans and everything attached. Good luck with the sale though. 9k miles is incredibly low

                              if i were you i'd sell some parts off the motor and sell the long block that way then you could get what u want for it easily

                              i.e ac compressor,fuel rail covers ect. cause half the stuff wont work on a f-body if someone wants to swap it into that.

                              my ls6 prolly wont even sell for 2500
