no you dont they bolt right in but the axle itself is 3-4 inches wider if i recall correctly

If it was me I would stuff new gears in it.
Other than that you shold be able to swap your breaks, calipers & brackets over to this rear no problem.
It has axels, carrier w/ posi so you should be good if you put a new set of geras in it.

If you can aford it a bearing kit would be good to, but not totaly need.
