Gauging Interest: Just seeing what someone would pay, or if someone is interested, send me an offer!

    '74 455 cid
    6X Cylinder Heads
    Edelbrock Alum. Intake Manifold
    Edelbrock Carb
Unknown internals, but I believe it has a cam.
I BELIEVE the engine was rebuilt sometime in '04-'05 and has not been driven in 3 years but starts right up and runs excellent, I have no recipts to prove this though and cannot guarrantee that either but that is what I was told.

I believe the transmission is a Muncie, but I could not be 100% as the trans was in the car and I couldnt see the bolts perfectly clear.
    It has a Hurst shifter.

    Video of it running:

If anyone is interested, I can pull the exact numbers, etc

I am debating selling this because I am considering going LT1/LSX or with a matching #'s 400, if I could get enough for this bb.

      455 for a 400?

LSX would be cool, but it cannot match the might of the 455...

It sounds mean as hell in person...

I'm not sure I could afford to fill this 455 up next summer though

As of now, yes. Not sure what I am going to do with it yet. I havent done anything with since i've owned it. I start it up every 1-2 weeks and let it run for a while.

Make me an offer Ben. From what I have seen cores go 500ish on ebay, crates i've seen as high as $5,000 so somewhere in between It has to be enough for me to justify selling it though

Yeah, 455s are getting pricey...pull the date code on it, market it right, and they're practically gold to the right person...

Will you include the trans and all necessary accessories? Can I come out and check it out sometime soon?

                      Is that a Pontiac 455 or a Buick 455?

Would you be interested in a trade at all? I have a nice winter Daily Driver I need gone? It would be great if we could work something out.

No trades unless you have a 4th gen fbody or a S10

Setting the price at $1,700 for complete take-out engine/transmission (will list else where for $2,000 but will take 1,700)

Ext. Cab (must), prefer a 98+ but might consider a clean 94+

I can put down some money as well
