    FS: NEW in the box LT4 Valve Springs

    Brand New In the box GM Performance Parts small block V8 LT4 valve springs(16).
    GM Part #12495494

    These springs were originally used on the 1996 LT4 engine. Also used on all 1999- Current ZZ4,Fast Burn 385 engines, Fast burn heads, Lt4 heads, and are included with the LT4 hot cam kits. Outer diameter of 1.34" , 101 Lbs pressure @ installed height of 1.78", solid height 1.22" Spring pressure with valve open is 332 lbs. made of high quality silicon ovoid wire. Color coded green. Set of 16. For a single replacement spring use part # 12551483.The matching retainers for this spring are part # 12495492, and the keepers are part # 12495503. Good for up to .530" lift.

    are they a lot better than Lt1? or not a real upgrade for a higher lift cam and 1.6 RR?

      They are supposed to be better then the stock LT1 Springs. Weather they are or not I don't personally know. They came with my cam kit but I stayed with the double springs that were already on my heads.

          Probably not thats about a 2-1/2 hour 170 mile drive for me, but I'd be more then happy to bring them to the M&G on the 31st.

            Im in class right now, ill let you know tonight, i have so many plans for my motor, I need to get a steady head and see if I want to start forging it first, or just do Heads,Cam, and forge all in once step. Ill let you know later today though!

                Derek, they are good for cams with lifts up to that of the hot cam. bigger than that, go with beehives.

                As a side note I saw this: "FS: NEW in the box LT4 Valve..." in the top threads and was hoping you had LT4 valve covers for sale
