for sale or trade for something i could use. the trans needs 3rd and 4th gears and everything else is in good shape. looking for some wheels to put on DRs and/or some DRs/slicks. I need to be faster!!!! plus I just need to get rid of this stuff, just taking up space. also have the stock airbox or parts of it. thanks for looking

What year is the transmission and what all do you have done to it?

well it was rebuilt last summer after losing third and forth gear, by one of the wmcc guys, i had about 1000 miles on it and lost those 2 gears again. took the whole car back down to him and he supposedly replaced the 3rd and 4th gear clutch pack/solenoids?? again. within a couple weeks i lost third and forth again and didnt want to take it back and waste more money, so just bought a new one from perfomabuilt out of PA. so as far as i know, the whole insides have been replaced, but the second time it went back, i know they were in a hurry to make the hot rod power tour, so unsure of what went on that time. maybe they can chime in and tell what was replaced. as far as i know everything should be new.

i just want to get it sold and outta here. with what i payed to have it done twice, plus the gas to go allthe way to three rivers, numerous times, i have probably $1200 into it, so if i could just get maybe the scrap value, id be happy.

Do you know how much different LS1 4L60Es are from LT1 4L60Es? I know 94s are different from 95s and those are different from 96-97s, so are all LS1 auto trannies the same? Or did they keep changing them like in the LT1s?

that, i have no idea. im sure someone here could answer it though. i believe they are all the same but i could be wrong.
