  • Hypertech chip

I just took the Hypertech chip out of my car. Someone make me an offer. Nothing wrong with the chip, I just replaced it with something else. It was only in my car about 2 years. I can take a pic if anyone is interested.

I believe it will only work for a '93 LT1 car. I think for '94 and newer you need a Power Programer or other computer software to change the tune in the computer. I think '93 was the last year for a "chip". Someone correct me if I'm wrong ............

The guy I bought the car from put it in and I was talking to him last night and he said he didn't notice a huge difference and that it would actually be better for an auto. At least that is what Hypertech told him. They also told him it would improve his 1/4 mile time but you wouldn't notice much by simply stomping on it.
