  • A Must Have DD

Like I said before,I love being the boss. Went to the auction and bought a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GTX. Has a V8,forged rims, and shift paddles on the steering wheel. Damn thing is amazing. I'll get some pics up hopefully today,or just go to www.crippencars.com to see it. If you are looking for a DD this is one hell of a ride.

its actually a GXP and they are honestly just ok, I drove a few and was surprised at the lack of power but they are very nice cars IMO.

Just noticed I put GTX..I don't think they lack power for what it is. It's a fricken 4 door and front wheel drive.

um.... I would have NO problem beating a GXP and my engine has never even had a valve cover removed. Either somebody had no clue how drive, or something was SERIOUSLY wrong with that - heads and cam cars should be 12s easy...and no stock GXP is running 12s.

GXPs are very nice cars, but i believe what hurts their "impressiveness factor" is the torque management needed to keep that FWD tranny alive.

My buddy has a Monte Carlo SS and its the same deal. Nice car, not enough power. The DOD is annoying too.

The GXP has the LS4 doesn't it? They are not bad cars at all for how much they weigh, 303hp and 320 something tq I believe.

When you compare a GP GXP to Fbodies, ya its slow. Its a family car.
Compare it to a Camry, Accord, Malibu, whatever nissan and Kia make, and its the best car in the class, as dated as it is. Comes with the best warranty, best price, and onstar. Only 'problem' with the cars, is the resale value is terrible. Besides the Cobalt SS and some VW products its one of the fastest FWD, and fastest FWD family car on the market. And best of all, you can have real cam lope

Id love to have GXP rims for my car.
