haha just cuz its a v6 doesnt mean things cant break.. she took me for a drive last year and from what i can remember its basically making a odd noise under certain circumstances.. angie you should just get a new one and have some guys swap it in your garage, its a relatively easy swap. if you have tcs just make sure the rear end has TCS, this one probably doesn't.

I have had problems with it for a long time, It makes the noise at 20 to 25mph its like a hmming problem i dont know if its the bearing or what it is. I had some mechanics look at it and they are like it may coast a grand or two. So I dont have the money for a new one and and as or right now I dont have the cash or the place to do it. and I dont have traction control on my car. I hope that answers some of the questions.

Ive never used it, but everything looks good. Posi turn-tests stronger than my own axle. It has approximately 65k miles on it, and used to be in wasjo's carbed firebird.

IMPORTANT: it does NOT have brakes. You will need to use your existing brakes. To install the brakes, you will need to pull the axles - therefore you will also need gear oil and a cover gasket.

          $250 - will not ship.
Consider it sold, I want it have the money now

if its something to do with the rear end those mechanics are idiots, gear swaps are like 300, a full rear end swap can be done by practically anyone in your garage, can find a non posi rear end for like 150. do you have posi? If you dont care about posi you could have my stock one for cheap when I swap my posi rear end in this spring.

wouldnt matter, if your car doesnt have posi you would get NO traction with a v8 though

                      ???

if he doesnt have a posi, he would want a posi. and 3.42 is good on a v8 for any trans. it doesnt have disc brakes though if he wanted to ditch the drums.

You are missing the point of what I said, his stock rear end WILL work with a v8 engine, it is just that he would want a posi rear end such as this to get any traction at all. But it is not necessary just quite often desired..

I don't plan on backing out. Already spoke to my cousin and he's going to do the swap. So Joel, if you don't get it this weekend, that's fine. I'm not in a big rush to have it right this weekend but whatever works best for you is fine with me. Please keep me posted. Thanks much!
