engine +tranny

i have a built 283 and a 200 metric automatic transmmission forsale. the engine is bored .30 over it has a edelbrock performer intake not sure on the specs of the heads, cam, and the crank but i know that they are performance, it has only 20,000 miles on it, the only thing i know that it needs are new valve covers. the tranny is a 200 metric it has a torque converter. i am selling the engine for $200 and the tranny for $100 or if you buy both it will be $250. i really need them gone

Is it a running motor?

with new valve covers so it holds oil it you could probly get it to start and run. you can tell by the pic it's in good shape. you get what is in the pic + a carb

can this motor be set up to hear it run ? also what shape is the trans ?

the trans is in good condition one of the bolt holes need put back on but you dont need to it would work just fine with out it. i dont have valve covers that will hold the oil in the engine but i can prove it turns over. i droped a box parts yesterday and it broke the starter but i could barrow the one off my car but it cant go with the engine.
