  • SLP Loudmouth, Edelbrock Stainless Headers, Stock 806 Heads

My trans is out in my car, so I need to get some cash up to replace it. Just have this stuff laying around collecting dust and need to get rid of it.

First off I have a complete SLP Loudmouth exhaust with a bullet muffler welded in place of the stock resonator and a pair of chrome resonator tips. Sounds great and isn't too loud compared to a stock Loudmouth setup. $150 FIRM.

Next I have a pair of Edelbrock stainless shorty headers. These are in great shape and only have about 5000 miles on them. On my '98 they knocked a tenth off my ET and gained a little over 1MPH. They are a direct bolt on for a '00-'02 bird, but if you have a '98-'99 you'll need an '00-'02 Y pipe or my old Y pipe which was converted to the new style. Without the Y-pipe, $75, with the Y-pipe $200 (the cats are too valuable to just sell cheap).

Finally, I have a pair of stock perimeter bolt heads with valve covers (not shown) that I was going to port and sell, but I just don't feel like it. They were off my Formula in perfect running order, so they could be bolted on and run after some minor cleanup. $75

Shipping of course will be extra, but if you live anywhere from Big Rapids/Grand Rapids to Detroit, I can deliver them, as I go to Detroit regularly. Please PM for details or if you're interested in purchasing. I take Paypal for payment only.

can you get much more power out of them if they are ported, or is it just better to buy aftermarket? havent seen you around in a while patrick, whats up??

They're just as good as any other LSX head when ported, just stock they flow a little less due to being sandcast. I've been around, just been working and focusing on other things. Figured I'd get on here and see if I could get a little money up to rebuild my trans.

Everything still available - heads wouldn't work for his project.

Yeah, it will. It's a 4th gen application. I have the same exhaust on my car.

Yeah, any decent exhaust shop should be able to connect it to an LT1. Last I knew, SLP even sold a kit to do so.

It's not to bad. Patrick's is quieter than mine because he has a true muffler. I'd say I'd see ya on Woodward next weekend but my car won't be out for 3 more weeks.

If you get it thought I could bring it home on my spring break. Me and Patrick both living in Big Rapids.
