I left Joe a voice message but no return call so they are still availble.Originally posted by rjwz28 View PostIs this set still available or did Joe buy it?
I guess this snow has people thinking snow tires again. If so, maybe i will sell them.
By the way these tires handle great in snow and even give some traction in ice which I guarantee the summer or all season tires do not.

I almost want too, but it will just tempt me to drive the car in the snow again. The Chevy Camaro was built with a single purpose in mind which it executes flawlessly...Going very very fast in a straight line until your hair catches on fire.

I am pretty sure they will fit. I know of a thord gen with Z06 rims. But I do not know if they did anything to make them fit.Originally posted by k0261886 View Postwill fit 3rd gen correct?
I have posted the question elsewhere too.

From some of my reading it sounds like a spacer will be needed so the tires do not rub bit the bolt pattern is the same.Last edited by ActionJack; February 13th, 2008, 12:20 PM.

Driving in the snow can be the most fun.Originally posted by YoshiBear View PostI almost want too, but it will just tempt me to drive the car in the snow again.
I had my 01 Trans Am WS6 out in about 6 to 8 inches last year with the Dunlop M3s and my neighbor with his 4x4 blazer was laughing and telling me I would be stuck before I got out of the subdivision. I drove around for 15 minutes just loving how great the car drove and when I got home I was laughing at my neighbor.
Except for avoiding salt from winter driving I never saw a reason not to drive my F-Body. I even had a shift kit and 3.73 gears installed. The only thing I had to beware of was hitting some deep snow that could take the weight from my wheels because my TA sat lower than most cars.
I got a stick with the 06' GTO and it is easier to drive. I have been having trouble with my BFG KDWS because all season tires suck but I can ride the clutch and start with 2nd gear. Last night was a bit scary though. I almost put the rims and tires I am selling on the rear so i could have good traction.
