Im selling a 4l60 or a 4l60-E tranny... im not quite sure which

Has around 75,XXX miles or was told when purchased about a year ago... We bought with the intentions to fix a vehicle we owned how ever sold the bravada instead...

Anyway we're in the process of getting all of the crap we don't need out of our garage so this needs to go as well...

Confirmed beign a 4l60. Not-4l60E. If interested still for sale... $150 O.B.O. Open to trades for just about anything 3rd gen related or some 4th gen parts as well.

Also looking for a winter beater truck. Prefer to be GM needs v8( Doest need to run but prefer). Body damage/rust is ok as long as not extreme. Looking to trade a Dodge dynasty currently not running along with 2 engines(scrap most likely ones a v8 others v6) Then other scrap metal parts.

My uncle needs a 4L60e for his Sonoma 4x4 so if its a 4L60e then he might be interested i'll call him later on tonight or tomarrow to find out whats up. But I need to know for sure if its a 4L60e

Ill find out for sure. Id like a whole rear end... I have no idea whats involved with putting posi in one or anything like that... If i found someone to do that for me then i would only need the pieces not the housing,... but id prefer a complete rear.

well the posi I have isn't installed so you just need to swap out differentials and gears, not a real big deal.

Would you need to set like some sort of lash or anything like that or is it un bolt old bolt in new?

Yea it'd be isntalling a differential so setting lash and painting the gears would be required.

Is this out of a V8 fbody? I am looking for a trans for my SBC 355. Any idea if it would work with my motor? How it worked before it was pulled?

Lol well i got rid of the tranny from the olds... But the one i have now my dad made a dumb purchase...It may not be here buy the summer. Im getting rid of it some how before i move away... which is going to be in the begging of june.
