Shred goes for about 4 - 5 cents a pound and tranmissions go for about 30 cents a pound. So you prolly would even break even. I used to work at a scrap yard over the summer and those were the prices back then idk about now. But i'm sure there not that different.

Fair salvage yard in Clare county... It may be Isabella county not sure.

Automatic transmission go for a flat rate of $25

Engines go for unclean $185 per ton

So say it weighs 300lbs it will be about $28.

If someone wants it for scrap value i may even have another engine i can throw in...out of an old crappy dodge dynasty.

Do you happen to have the code for this trans?
Some 2004r's are better starting points for rebuild than others.
I would make the trip if the trans case looks clean.

I believe the code would be at the passenger side rear of the case by the trans mount.

I can attest that the transmission shifted and the engine ran back when i had them.

What type of dynasty engine is that?

What kind of HP does a 307 put out? Is it similiar to a SBC 305?

Welp... Technically i have 2 dynasty engines... One is fully complete sitting in the car just not bolted to the tranny. That engine is 100%... But i have a not so 100%... It has a broken head bolt and a screwed up head (there is a whole between the intake and exhaust ports) and some parts are sitting in a rubber maid tub of ours.

So I actually have a full complete non running dynasty.. just needs engine and tranny connected and the swap completed. Anyone interested i can sell that whole car for $300.

Or for $400 ill sell you the complete car, olds engine and tranny, and then the junk engine to the dynasty so all that can be scrapped... So if anyone has some spare time and wants a winter beater and a trip to the scrap yard for the spare stuff...

Well a massive out put of 140-150 hp is what i have gotten from wikipidea...
But then the info i got on LG4's is they make 145-170hp... so.
                        l69's produced 190 hp stock...

I cant find torque numbers maybe badinfluence can chime in here...But i know they make torque....
theres also numerous sites about beefing them up...

                          140hp/240-250tqish

the 190hp 307 was the high output found in 442/hurst olds in the 80's

my cousins have a dynasty, i was thinking they might need some parts or a parts car for future use...i'll see what if there interested

400 bucks for it all would be a good deal

The cars pretty decent... body has some rust but nothing terrible. I know the engine has about 100k miles on it. We just bought it and never finished the swap... Let me know if they decide anything.. If they plan to scrap out the remaining engines and such i may possible have other metal ill throw in with it that we don't want anymore and are just laying around.
