you will probably see around 5 without tuning and such, with tuning around 10. But it will help, of course matching them up to some ported heads will make them work even better.

As for low end, I have not seen that anywhere, where are you seeing that? You are making your engine breath easier just like CAI mods and such do. Therefore it is going to perform better. Do you have exhaust, cuz that will help the flow as well.

I found the low end loss disscussion on an online Buick Regal forum during a google search. It seemed like it was commonplace there. I do not have a CAI or exhaust besides stock. However I am planning on adding a functional ram air box and a magnaflow exhaust in the next few months.
