Had my front bumper and hood repainted from a employee of Holt Auto Sales...he also paints for the dealership. First paint job: Deffective, had blue lines and did not dry 5 months later. Also I took my car in there w/ the RS front ground effects, and it came out without the piece, stating that it had broken into several pieces, but yet had not saved ANY of the pieces for proof. Last month My brother bumped into the bumper at 1-2mph in a golf cart (rubber/plastic bumper)...the paint literally fell right off.

I took it to another paint shop and they said the guy DID NOT prep the bumper at all, simply sprayed new paint over it...

BOTTOM LINE: Not only would I STRONGLY NOT recommend the employee who painted my car privately, but since the same guy paints the cars there, I would be EXTEREMLY hesitant to buy ANY car there that has been painted by them...

(PS, the cars there are restored classics, very very pricy cars)

Oh, forgot to add he ignores my calls...

I'll stop by for a visit before I get it repainted so he can see his work...

But the cars at the dealer are 15K all the way up to 75K at least...I can't imagine buying one of those with a half-assed paint job

I've been there when looking for an Fbody a few years ago. They specialize in vettes and muscle cars. Most certainly seemed overpriced. Had some interesting stuff though... also some junk. Scary about the paint.

They also put cars on ebay...

                    Yep, they did.

And for misrepresenting cars as well.

It's definately a "caveat emptor" type of place to deal with.
