I am not happy! I will have to spend more money to see if I can get them fixed or buy new ones.

Then he wants to say I took to much time to think about if I wanted them or not.

It just proves my point buy beware.

Okay here's how I see it. If curt is such a good guy and would have resolved this...then...uh...why did he lie? If I sell you a wheel. And you ask me if its bent, I'd make damn well sure I knew the wheel was straight before I said "yes". I don't give a damn who I'm selling it for, or who's buying them. If I'm gonna give my word on something, I'm gonna make damn well sure I know what I'm talking about. "thanks for the screw job" May have been a little harsh way to open the conversation, but I promise, if somebody told me to get ****ed after selling me some damaged product, they'd damn well able to back that up when I come find them in person.

no affiliation with either of you guys but if you want my $0.02 (which you may not) then sounds like your both in the wrong. Curt should have advertised them as such if they weren't his wheels and should have also mentioned he didn't know if they were bent when you asked. In the same manner its not right of you to not give him a civil chance to make due on the situation. Regardless I would be pissed as well if somebody told me to **** off and I'd be driving there to meet them face to face, poorly handled IMO.

First off the retarded comments about "brilliance" is just childish. Secondly you dont know the whole story and neither do I. Thirdly if you get attitude from someone your going to give attitude right back. I am not defending Curt if he did or didnt say they wheels where or were not bent. If he didnt know then I agree he should have said that he didnt know. Regardless, used items are used items, you sell wheels with a warranty?

The brilliance would be, yes if handed differently I will bet $100 that Curt would have made it right of offered some sort of solution. This was obviously handled wrong on both end, keep your personal attack bull shit comments out of this! GTFO ERIC!

You're biased in this because Curt is your friend. No I don't sell used parts with a warranty. I stand by my word. If somebody asks me if something is broken, I'm not gonna lie about it. And regardless of how the conversation was started, if I just spent MY hard earned money, found out I had been hustled, I asked about the situation, and then got "**** you"...somebody would be paying a visit to their dentist. Period.

"Asking" does not equal "thanks for the screw job"

Curt is a middle man and its 100% possible he was given the false information, then only doing his job of relaying it. Its not his responsibility to take them to a tire store and check his friend's word before selling them.

              Otherwise, I agree with you.

agreed.. it should have been handled by both parties much better.. your not going to get respect by disrespecting someone first.. especially in that manner..

I ask none of you for sympathy. All I wanted to do is make others aware and by all you jumping on his band wagon just get the word out to cation others even more so please keep posting.
I sold you a set of wheels that I wasn't aware of them being "bent" so yea I will screw everyone I can.

I didn't lie. He asked if I knew they were bent. I said no. If he would of told me with out saying thanks for the screw job. I'd give him his money back. But he didnt. So I really don't care. And if someone ways to "come find me". Do it.

I sold a single BARE 243 head on EBay. Guy left negative feedback without even saying anything to me. So I messaged him asking what the problem was and he responded with something like "Thanks for selling me a ****ed up head that had 1 valve seat cut way open". I was going to offer to give him a full refund including shipping but because he was such a prick I pretty much just moved on. Was I in the wrong for not noticing the head had 1 seat cut? Yes. Was he still a royal dick head.... Yes

I am fine with being the bad guy. I was wrong how many times do I have to say it.

The issue is when asked he said no they are not bent. When he did not know. He should have said I do not know. That is the issue here. I never asked him for money back. I know a used sale is a used sale and come as is. I wanted others to know that this guy is not honest, thats it.

In for you guys that think me saying thanks for the screw job is as bad as being told **** you after I just gave him hundreds and then were told that they were junk. What would you have said. OH Mr. Curtis these rims are bad can you pretty please give me my money back. I am sure that it would have been the NO they are sold as is.

Basically you give him a chance to make things right, would I have been upset of course, and maybe he would have and maybe you would have got the same response. This would never have been an issue had you not specifically asked him and got a straight answer. Regardless doesn't seem like either of you want to handle it in a respectable manner.

I am more then willing to end this conversation in a respectable manner. All I want is a I am sorry that I told you the rims were not bent. I just wanted others to know buyer beware. I have not been disrespectuful at all. As your friend Curtis is calling others names. It just proves my point that he is not someone I would buy from and I hope others do not have the issues with him as I had.
