I just watched one go on ebay for $16,000. Had 55k miles and 100% stock.

I bought mine 3 years ago for 11.5K with very similar miles. Base model T/As are nothing special and trust me they go for wayyy cheaper than that.

I do completely agree. This is just what she asked me to list it at. I'm still working on trying to talk her into keeping it. I think she's listing so high partly to not sell ya know?? I'm going to go start another thread on why my girlfriend should not sell her Trans Am.

Well after talking with her today I think she's pulling the car off the market. I've decided I'm going to help her out with payments so she can get it paid off sooner and be able to keep it. Wish us luck!!

how in the world do you justify being 6,200 over blue book price in excellent condition. I say re-think what the car will sell for not what you would like to get for it. good luk

I bought my 02 WS6 with 9000 miles and way more mods for less than that. Remember just because it shows it went for 16 on ebay doesn't mean the guy got paid for it.. Lots of people are there to bid things up and never pay. I'm still waiting on $700 that's never going to come on a sale I made.

???? Ebay? wher'd that come from? I was commenting on the price of the car, 18,500 and a blue book private party value of 12,300. I just sold my 99WS6 in a week. If i had it up for 16,000 it would have never sold. EVER no one in their right mind will pay 6200 over blue book. If a car is worth 12k, the bank will only approve you for what the car is worth. in this case someone would be approved for 12, then need to come with 6k out of pocket LOL If the seller is in the market to SELL....then they need to price it competitively. I paid 18k for my WS6 5 years ago!!!!! with 25k on the clock!! lmfao

I don't agree....................... First,if its your car,you can put any price you want on it!
                      SCREW ..NADA & others !!!!!!!!!
The way I see it is : Don't tell me what price my car should be !!!
If somebody wants it ,they pay the price!!
IF NOT..... go look else where ...
The price the owner sets ,is a price he thinks its worth to him...
                      Plain & simple.......

If someoene is entering the mindset of "I am going ot sell this car" they cannot realistically beleive that there car will fetch 6200 over what the "suggested price" is. We cannot really screw NADA/KBB becusae the financial institutions guage a loan amount on that price. So screw it or not....the banks will have there way with you. So we need to be reasonable with an asking price. taking into consideration that the most anyone will get finance for with this car is 12,000 +/-. Making someone want the car is easy. These cars are beautiful and well taken care of. Anyone would want it, but the price is what sells it. On the other hand these cars are not that rare. I mean a 2000 Trans AM is not that hard to come by. I felt my car was worth 18, realistically probably 15, but what I was able to sell it for was neither of those. Setting a price that he thinks he is entitiled to is fine and dandy but that is not the "selling' mindset, and to think he is goin to fool someone into paying an extra 6200 for a car becuase the owner thinks its worth it is crazy. my car was gorgeous but thats to me. I need to take me out of the equation.I need to entice a buyer by offering a great car at an attractive price. 30% over what the car is worth....not anytime soon

i bought my 99' Trans Am 2 years ago with only 34k miles for 11k, price is wayyyy too high. Realistically that car should be around 10-12k. 7 years old with over 50k miles.... 18,5 is dreaming
