  • Lt1 auto to m6 swap parts. MUST SELL.

I'm selling the t56 out of my car. The trans was just rebuilt with carbon blockers, new 1-2 and 3-4 sliders, steel 3-4 shift fork, billet 3-4 keys, 1-2 and 3-4 bronze fork pads, new main shaft and all new bearings. It comes with a new b&m ripper shifter with slp shift knob, shifter console insert, pedal assembly, master cylinder and slave cylinder assembly that was used for 3000 miles and cross-member. I'm looking to get $1300 for all of it and need to sell it ASAP.

If you are gonna swap to an LS1 you don't want this tranny Ty. Didn't now if you knew there was a difference between the LT1 T56 and the LS1

Yep...different bellhousing, clutch/flywheel setup as well as a different input shaft. You can convert them for about $500 in parts. Not worth it.

Sorry guys, but I bought all the stuff already. There was an Ebay auction for a McLeod street twin clutch/flywheel that I wanted, further discussion led to me buying his entire T56 setup for my 89 T/A.
