  • 2000 firebird T/A 400+hp

    **Price Drop $8500 OBO now**

I have a 2000 Pontiac firebird trans am for sale. Ive had it two years, it has 89,000 miles. It has the following mods:

FMS f13 cam 230/232 .595 lift with supporting valvetrain
Long tube headers with full 3" exhaust
    SLP intake
1.2" drop B/M springs with new blistein shocks/struts
    weld in Subframe connectors
    3200 stall with full lockup
    Walbro fuel pump
    new tie rods

It only dyno 299.4 on a mustang dyno but that was with a bad torque converter. I have since swapped that out and replaced with a full lock up and now it pulls like crazy. I dont have track times as its never been raced with this setup. I made one pass when i first got it and it posted a 13.4@105.9 all stock. I would expect high 11's with good traction but probably low 12's.

The transmission was rebuilt around 81,000 miles with upgraded internals. Exotic performance plus installed and tuned the cam last september with additional tranny cooler, ls6 oil pump, new water pump, etc. mechanically should be like a new car. I just recently got it out of storage and i need to clean it up. I desperatly need to sell this car because i cant afford my payments anymore. Fixing it up i accumulated a lot of credit card debt and need to get my priorities straight. I need $8500 to pay the car off. I'll get new pics soon, I have a set of ws6 wheels im putting on it in a week or two.

Thanks guys, when I first got the car i think i was averaging 24 mpg.. right now i would guess 19-20.

I just got it out of storage. didnt want to drive it in the salt/snow when I had a subaru impreza. I hate to sell it when I just pretty much got it finished. The only two things I wanted to do were to it were ls6 manifold and 3.73 or 4.10 gears. It has aluminum driveshaft, new suspension, rebuilt tranny, new stall, freshened motor (cam, valvetrain, oil pump, water pump, belts) I also have a descreen PRO-M maf, but im just going to sell that seperate. The car isnt tuned for it, and i feel safer having a screen on my maf.

When I get the ws6 wheels and it all cleaned up ill take some new pics, this weather is still nasty, there is still salt on the roads :-< I sold my hayabusa last month, but im still not making ends meet.

Depends how you define "problems" I don't know how to really fix this, but sometimes the longtube headers under intermediate acceleration will rub against the floorboard driving me nuts. One of my pop up headlights is not working, but i have an appointment tomorrow to get that fixed. The price might go up slightly depending how much more I invest into it. I was considering a new paint job.

No, i never had a DSM... but im good friends with some in that community. I bought the car for 11k with 55k miles on it, and i have about $5000+ into it. Granted i did very little of the work myself. My friend and I installed the long tube headers and man that was a *****. paradon my french . your forumla is very sharp btw, is that zr1 wheels?
