  • 93 Ford probe... CHEAP

1993 Ford probe, 5 speed, 32 valve 2.5l v6, new front performance tires, new battery, water pump, and clean interior. Outiside is the typical ford faded red. Ran good for 3,000 miles. Out of no where it started giving me problmes starting. I drive 600 miles a week on average and didn't feel like putting more time or money into getting the thing to be reliable. I pulled the spark plug boots and it looks like some of the valve cover donut seals are bad because they were filled with oil. The car is located at Ramble wood apartments off Byron center and 44th street. This would be a good first car, or a daily driver for someone that doesnt mind putting a weekend into giving her a nice tune up. I think it burned approx. half a quart of oil every 1,000 miles. Feel free to look at it or even work on it at my place if interested. I'm not expecting much money out of this car so make me a resonable offer and it's yours. $200-300 will give you a ball park for how much I want for it. But I will let it go for less if needed. I have that much money in just the tires and battery.

Drop me a message anytime or call me at 269-655-5499 , I will try to find some pics.

Last week I couldn't get it to start. I didn't work on it at all and bought a truck for a daily driver. I'm pretty sure its ignition related and probably those silly plugs that have to much oil in the boots to fire? It is a pretty peppy car and will put you in the back of the seat pretty good for a stock rice burner. Let me know if you want to look at it.

My bad its a 24 valve. I must of had a brain fart. These are the only pics I have right now, until the weekend when I have a camera. Its the faded red thing behind the pretty black car. Last time I checked she didn't want to start but did turn over. I don't feel like wrenching on it. So first resonable offer takes her. I was driving her 70 miles a day for awhile with no problems.

My parents live in Middleville. I moved to Wyoming and the car is located on Byron center approx. half a mile south of 44th street. It might not need a trailer just a little wrenching on in the drive way to get her fired up? I don't have to time to do it. If worse comes to worse I'm going to part out some stuff and have the junk yard take her away.
