  • Another Hugger Orange for sale!

It pains me to be posting this but priorities change and I have to make some sacrifices.

Anyway...here are all the specs that I can think of:

    1999 Hugger orange SS, 1 of 375 made, 77,000 miles, M6, Ttops
Runs and drives like a frickn' dream. Nice low rumble around town until you go WOT then it is absolutely wicked sounding. The only flaws to speak of are a few of the usual stone chips up front, one stone chip on the winshield has turned into a crack and a 1-2" scuff on the rear bumper near the liscense plate (have no idea how it got there). Never in any accidents, never seen snow, rarely sees rain.

    Here are the mods:

    Drivetrain/suspension:

Rebuilt T56 (stock rebuild except for steel shift forks, by ValveGod on LS1Tech)
pro 5.0 shifter with Lou's short stick
    Thunder Racing line-lock
Ram HD clutch with billet flywheel
    '02 slave, McCleod adjustable master
Ford 9" rear, Daytona Tru-Trak center section, 4.30 gear, ARP 1/2" studs
    UMI adjustable frame-mounted T/A
    UMI adjustable chromoly poly/rod LCA's
    BMR adj. panhard bar
    17x9/17x11 black ZR1's w/BFG 275-17's FT, Nitto 315's Drag radials-Rear

    Engine:

    ETPerformance race-ported 5.3 heads: 64cc, Manley*2.05/1.57, Comp 921 dual valvesprings/Ti retainers
    approx: 11.0:1 compression
Comp 232/237 595/601 112lsa cam Tuned at Wheel2Wheel, nice lope but very streetable
    LS6 intake/ported TB/MAF
TexasSpeed lid, Fast toys ram air
    ASP under-drive pulleys
Racetronix fuel system w/ 42lb injectors
    Meziere electric water pump
    LS6 ported oil pump
AC/airpump/EGR deleted (have all parts to re-connect AC)
    AMW oil catchcan
    poly motor mounts
Hooker longtube headers, 3" y into a custom 4" mandrel exhaust through a single chamber Flowmaster muffler out a stainless Magnaflow Tailpipe
Engine mods have around 6,000 miles on them
Compression was 190-198 on all cylinders.
Uses about a half a quart of oil every 3000 miles

Looking to get $14000 Pretty firm on this. Would consider a clean modded LT1 Z or SS as partial trade.

Oh yeah, the car dyno'd 400rwhp/387rwtq on a Mustang dyno with a very safe 11.8-12.2 AFR no knock. on a Dynojet it would be north of 430rwhp
Best ET was 11.80, best MPH was 121, best 60' is a crappy 1.84
    Attached Files
    A bunch of bolt-ons, heads/cam, LT's 9" rear, 4.30 gear. Best on Nittos 11.90 @ 120.4 w/ 1.89 60'
    SOLD.

Oh my god, this is my dream car. I would go get a loan for it right now, but no bank will give me one. I have no credit history, and I don't know anyone that would cosign for me. . . Sucks too, because I could afford up to a $500 a month car payment.

Wow. Im about as attached to my car as one can get, and I would seriously be tempted to trade plus cash if I had the money. That thing is gorgeous!!!

Thanks! I had to make a choice between a (True) dual exhaust with a trans-mounted torque arm or a frame mounted T/A and do something different with the exhaust. I wanted the rigid frame-mount...so I had a custom 4" exhaust fabbed and I'm really glad I did, no chance of breaking my tailshaft!

Thanks for all the nice compliments, like I said I REALLY REALLY hate to sell her.
