Yeh, trust me, I was pretty upset with my dad when I got home. Sunday night when I talked to him, he was for it and didn't say anything about not having the funds, so I was all excited about it. Come home last night and he tells me the funds aren't there, bleh.

Yeah, pretty much. The thing about is that I don't need a V8. It's not what I need to be driving right now. I'm pleased with what I have, I prefer to not be able to do anything stupid in my car. Too stupid, anyway. I have the SS in the garage though, so that's my "fast" car. It's no F-Body, but it's still sexy. lol In the end, it's all about what makes you happy, right? My little 3.4 is making me happy as it is, and it works best for me. I'll get a V8 someday, but I don't see it in my immediate future. Somebody really does need to jump on this deal! If it's just the VATS that's causing the problems, that isn't hard to fix at all. Heck, I'd like to get it just for the body parts that I need! Plus, that rear end itself would make me happy. . . If anyone buys it to part it out, let me know, I'd like a few parts from it. Otherwise, I'm going to start saving and maybe I'll pick it up in a couple of months.Originally posted by pheonix_risingYeah I was thinking the same thing. Stuck with V6's again eh Nick?

Trust me, I had a looooooooooooong talk with my dad and Angie last night and it just wasn't feasible for me to get this car right now. Got too much going on, and taking out another loan isn't possible. I feel bad enough Angie and I will be starting our married lives together in debt from student loans..- Brian Meissen

Don't sweat it, yes it sucks. But its the best thing you could do for yourself and the 2 of you in the long run. Hundreds of thousands do it every year after they graduate. You are not alone. I've been there. Just have to be patient.Originally posted by meissenTrust me, I had a looooooooooooong talk with my dad and Angie last night and it just wasn't feasible for me to get this car right now. Hey, I wish I had the cash for this. It would make a great parts car. If you end up selling it for parts or somebody buys it just to do a engine swap let me know. I need a passenger side green fender. plus a million little other parts i cant think of.Originally posted by BLKHAWKhave a 96 camaro for sale lt1 in a v-6 car 110000 on car 60000 on motor and 4l60e trans does need finishing oh the car is green
1200$ takes it
you know theres probably at least $1200 in spare parts in that car that your not gonna need after the engine swap. If you want to talk it over with your dad I might be willing to buy the rest of the car off you for a reduced price once you got the engine and stuff out of it. I would just need a couple pay checks to grab up the cash. I need a fender and other stuff so If I can get a green parts car...the only thing is the dash is fairly useless to me as I have a 97'. But its something to think about.Originally posted by meissenYeh, trust me, I was pretty upset with my dad when I got home.
