  • 2012 2SS/RS Convertible $19k

2012 Camaro 2SS/RS Convertible. Comes with windscreen, tonneau cover, and two extra sets of mats (weathertech and accessory mats embossed with the word Camaro). Convertible top is brand new - just replaced under warranty at Rinke. Rear tires are brand new. Car needs nothing, it is in great shape and it is a blast to drive. I am selling this car so I can get a 2016 convertible. I didn't put a lot of pics, but it is bone stock except for some plasti-dip paint on the wheels and front badge. If you want a specific pic, I will go take it and post it. I also have a couple mods - NPP exhaust and some other stuff that I never installed that I will include with it for anyone interested. Car has about 42,000 miles on it.

This for sale ad is only valid through January 4. If I don't sell it, I will either keep it or trade it in.

    Thank you.

    -Geoff

Traded into Matick Chevy for $17.5k. I don't drop it off until next week, so if you just saw the ad and HAVE to have it, let me know and maybe we can work it out.

What is that supposed to mean? Let me go on a quick rant here. I think people on this site live in a fantasy world on how much Camaro's and Trans-Am's are worth. I can't count the number of people still trying to sell their 4th gens for $12,000 on here. I sell cars for what they are worth. There are books that can tell you this value. I use them to value my stuff.

My car was paid off and they offered me NADA trade in on a convertible in Michigan in the middle of winter. I was shocked they offered me that much and jumped at it. I got a little over $13k discount on the the new one - a $54,xxx car for $41,000. If I waited two years to buy a 2016 used (as was my original plan), my car would have been worth less, and the used 2016 would have cost the same as I just paid. It worked out pretty good in my book! Nobody took a hit on this deal.

Darren, maybe some day you will own a Camaro built in this millennium. 5th and 6th gen Camaro's are truly amazing cars, and every single one has a part or two on it that I engineered personally - so you know they are awesome! I hear you can get good deals on them right now, too. NADA retail is well under $20k for 2010's.

            Who shit in your cereal?
What do you care what generation car someone drives? Car guys can be categorized in to hundreds of sections- 4x4's, lower riders, drag racers, hot rods, rat rods, show cars, road race cars, drift cars, resto mods, classics, trucks, Donks?, etc. Not everyone wants a new Camaro. Last night I was considering the idea of buying your car but I do not like fifth gen camaros. I have driven several of them and I never had the "I have to have one" feeling.

I think all Darren was trying to say is that the cost of ownership is high as new items depreciate quickly the first few years.
To conclude, I understand what you are saying and I am excited for you.
            Congrats on the new purchase!

              Haha someone got a little
Mad there? I could very well own a new one if I wanted but I don't like them so good for you. I just bought my wife a $40k vehicle so do t tell
Me what I can and can't own. I guess truth hurts you lost your ass on that car. All I said was you took a hit and you went off your rocker. 5th gens are pos's anyhow.

Everyone is entitled to have an opinion. I like all generations of Camaros and appreciate all the hard work people put into them to make it their own. If someone wants to sell their car to buy another one I'm happy for them. Weather they lost money on it or not is their business as long as their happy. Congrats on your future ride Geoff! I hope it brings you many smiles per miles!! Merry CHRISTmas and Happy New Year!!
