Finally Selling my Camaro (and first car...insert tear drop)
1996 Camaro
-T-tops
-Black Ext
-Charcoal Int
-3800 Series 2 Engine 165000 miles ( about that, I attached a picture im doing this from memory)
-Straight pipe and cat Converter deleted into flow-master 1 into 2 dual
-I believe they are c5 rims? I dont remember i got them for free years ago, have some pitting but look fine from 5-10 feet away I call the m mona lisa rims
;-The tires are good only issue is it has a rim leak on two of them, sometimes they last a month or two sometimes a week or two just depends on how its parked
-It actually is rust free from what I can tell, some light inside the rear wells and i mean extremely right, the entire body is solid
- The Paint is good it has some tree sap on it,some of which i removed however we bought a new house and the wife is in nursing school and i do a lot of the chromes and dont have time to detail it how i would normally. Spend a nice Saturday afternoon removing it and a good polish and wax job and it would be a 9/10 (minus the spider webbing that most of you know about already.
-The car sat for 2 years and a few months in my garage being moved from one side to the other driven about 30 miles since October of 2013
-Wired for amp and subs in the back
-Sony Cd PLayer
-The tranny and clutch have about 50 thousand miles on it, The transmission went out on the way to woodward actually in 2010 (ohh thee irony)
-Engine is fine oil changed like it should have been before I stored it, Has some oxidation and rust on a few pulleys but fires right up.
the only real bad thing is the rotors are rusty, I have only driven it maybe a mile or two and a lot of it did come off the front and some off the rear, stops fine, but you could re do the whole set of disc brakes for under 150, I would replace it myself but like I said i dont have the time. The passenger side fender half way up has a small crack about a inch long where the door meets it, i have no idea where it came from it was like that when I got it and doesn't hurt it at all from what I can tell. And i believe the switch for the high beams in the column is broke, which also was like that when I bought them, it never bothered me and i never used them anyways (not tha ti had a choice). It only holds a A/C charge for about a week from what i remember, but then again the last time I ever used it was in 2009 from my memory (who needs it with the t tops off and windows down?
;As stated I really hate to see it go, its not a trophy winner but it was my first car and with getting married and trying to not take out student loans comes making sacrifices, hopefully it goes to a someone who can take care of it. All the work was either done by myself or my father (retired 30+ at GM Milford Proving grounds or one of his co workers....and by myself they did it and and explained it to me) posting pics in a few minutes as soon as i remember how (havent been on in a few years)
sorry for in advance for spelling/punctuation i left my glasses at work
