Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Gotta sell her. Will end auction for $7500 cash. Will do a straight trade for the right suv. This eBay ad is the actual car, it is not intended to solicit bids, it is intended to give you all the info on the car only. Text me for fastest reply 6166445482
A rebuilt title isn't really a negative if you're looking to own it long term. If you're thinking short term, yeah, they are harder to resell. If u are planning on 10 year ownership it can actually be a positive deal financially.

What Don said. If you're looking to flip it, just look elsewhere. If you're looking to drive it, that's another perspective.
And for another perspective, it's a 17 year old vehicle...you're really *****ing about a rebuilt title, when you are almost capable of putting historic plates on it?

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
Ironic coming from a guy who mods the piss out of cars so much as you could consider them rebuilt, no?
Rebuilt, yes. Repaired after being damaged to who truly knows what extent? No.
Guys, let's not piss all over the thread. Sucks for some it has a rebuilt title. Others don't care. Fact of the matter is it looks to be a great low mileage car for a good price, interested parties have to determine whether the title is an issue to them or not.

Rebuilt means it was once salvage which means a hard crash or flooded. If you go to sell it people expect a discount of 25-50% from the value of a clean title car if they are even interested at all. Some aren't. Your buying base is very small. It has nothing to do with modifications.

FYI a car can be totaled without it being in an accident or a flood.
There have been cases when someone commits suicide on their car they will often total the vehicle.
Vandalism or theft can do it in areas with high labor costs too. Looked at a 4th gen back in the day that got keyed the whole way around and totalled because it would need a complete repaint and the car wasn't worth enough.
I know to what extent the damage was, I have a lot of the required paperwork. This car lost control and went into the ditch. Here's why the car was totaled...straight from the insurance company
Front bumper cover..$450
Absorber...$150
SLP exhaust...$1600
Catalytic converter...$700
2 wheels...$900
Previous owner got pissed and destroyed the paint and blamed the wall...paint job...$2500
Suspension parts...$1000
2 tires...$500
The car booked for $10k I 04 at the time of the accident. Parts add up fast. In this case rebuilt is good. Has a new paint job, better tires, new exhaust, upgraded suspension..flawless car with no frame damage.
Sounds like a heck of a deal for a low milage 99 Camaro. If someone wants one to cruise and go to shows how can you go wrong. Good luck if I was looking we would be talking.
