2003 Mercury Mountaineer. AWD, Fully Loaded, Leather, Power Heated Seats, Back up Sensors, Auto Dimming Mirror. Aftermarket stereo. 157xxx Miles. Brand New Tires, New Brake Pads, New Rear Rotors. Diffs, and transfer case fluid changed this summer. Power Steering fluid changed and flushed. AC, Heat work great!
Vehicle is not perfect. When turning slowly or backing up transfer case groans. Sometimes it needs to crank a few times before starting up. It has the original fuel filter so I think that may be the issue...have a new one I will throw in. It needs a sway bar end link on the driver side, it needs a upper ball joint on the passenger side to be 100% sound. Body has a little rust in the rear wheel well, tailgate has the typical ford crack on the hatch. Few dings here and there...swirl marks in the paint, etc. Interior is clean and in good condition, tear on the driver seat, and some plastic panels are fading.
It was a great DD, never let me down. I bought a new truck and do not drive it anymore. Asking $3500 or reasonable best offer...Kbb in fair condition is $3750. Any member here wants it we can make a deal!
