Im currently trying to help my sisters boyfriend find a buyer for his 1988 Trans Am ("GTA") When he bought it a few years ago he was told it was a real GTA, but he began to do more research and, although he has never been able to say 100% either way, he accepted the fact that he was likely scammed and it was a clone. Ive looked into a few things myself to try to get a definite answer and it looks like he was right, but because the factory equipped RPO option sticker was removed, its not a guaranteed yes or no. We all know that just the absence of that label is suspicous and was probably done just for this reason but you never know. It is a 5.0 (305) and not the 5.7 (350) as the previous seller had told him. Its still a pretty clean car, does need some work, im not sure of all the details but if interested send a message and ill pass your contact info along

Run the VIN through Pontiac Historical Services and they can run the history of the car for you...can clear everything up.Originally posted by Redd8407I WANT NOISE! SPEED! It annoys me more then anything.
