  • 2000 BMW 323i - 5-speed Manual

DJ is selling his 2000 BMW 323i Sedan. 2.5L I6, 5-speed manual. Real nice car! Has Moromoto Mini H1 Stage III projector retrofits, with a Morimoto 5000K HID bulbs/ballast/harness. Real clean install. $3000 firm.

This is my 2000 BMW 323I. It has been my daily driver for 3 years and it has never let me down. I do not want to let it go but I no longer have a need for it. It is a two owner car and has it been meticulously maintained since birth. The first owner was an older couple that traded it in for a new vehicle. I have the BMW dealer maintenance records from when it was new until I bought it 3 years ago (up to 140,000 miles). I am a degreed automotive powertrain engineer and I have been taking extremely good care of the vehicle ever since I bought it. It now has 175,000 miles. Even though it has high miles, it has plenty of life left. It still drives like new! It's a very quiet and smooth operating vehicle without any squeaks or rattles. I have replaced and added several new parts listed below. I JUST replaced the clutch (extremely expensive and difficult job) so you won't need to worry about that for at least another 100,000 miles. I have always changed the oil with BMW approved fully synthetic oil and filter every 4500 miles. This is an extremely clean car inside and out with a ton of maintenance already completed - ready for many maintenance free miles! I would trust it to drive anywhere in the country as it is today.

The ONLY issue with the vehicle is a couple German electrical gremlins which is common for these vehicles. The warning lights for the rear tail lamps and headlamps come on even though they are not burned out. The dash has flickered on and off after starting the vehicle on me a select few times. This reset the odometer over this winter so it no longer reads true. It has about 175,000 actual miles but you would never believe it after looking at or driving the vehicle. Must drive and see to believe! I will be very sad to see it go but it will be a great vehicle for its new owner for years to come! No trades please.

The price is $3000 firm. If I cannot sell the vehicle; I will gladly keep it. Considering all the recent work done on the car; it would not be logical for me to let the vehicle go for much under my asking price. The work listed would run well over $2000 at a dealer.

    New:

Front brakes pads and rotors (brand new!)
Clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing (3,000 miles old)
Wiper motor assembly (3,000 miles old)
    Front struts (5,000 miles old)
Front lower control arms (5,000 miles old)
Front lower control arm bushings (6,000 miles old)
Outer Tie Rods (6,000 miles old)
Sway Bar Links (6,000 miles old)
Bridgestone Potenza tires (20,000 miles old so about 1/2 life left)
Rear brakes, rotors, and sensors (30,000 miles old)
    Spark plugs (30,000 miles old)
Morimoto 5000k HID headlights with projector lenses and high HID high beams (30,000 miles old)
DDM 3000k HID fog lights (30,000 miles old)
BSW Soundplicity iPod Integration module (Works but will require a new iPod cable from BSW)

    Issues noted:
Dash has gone black a select few times which has reset the odometer
Rear drivers window wont move up or down under its own power - I am in process of fixing the regulator.

Realized there was no price. Added it into the title and the body of the post.

It's possible, though I don't know how much, since it's a pretty great price on the car already. These cars seem to sell for a good deal above blue book, probably due to the brand or what not.

He can definitely shoot him a text and see, though.

I wish I could justify it.

                  Bump!

If it makes any difference, the vehicle is now in Oxford.
