  • WTT: BAJA 240 Sport w/ 502ci 600+HP Crockett Engine for Performance Car/Truck

Looking to trade. Looking for a late model performance car. Something preferably stock in the 15-20k value range. Willing to add a little money on the right trade or will trade for something of less value plus cash as well. Trans Am, Camaro, Corvette, TBSS, Silverado, Duramax Truck, etc.

    1987 Baja 240 Sport.
    502ci
    - Dart Pro 1 310cc ported heads
    - Crane #268761 camshaft
    - Quick Fuel 850 carb
    - Merlin Intake
    - Jesel Rockers
    - Lightning water injected FULL headers.
    - Full MSD marine ignition
Dyno graphs provided show 610 hp, 613 tq
Since then the engine was just refreshed by Dynamic Marine in 2014. It currently has ~15 hours on it. Some changes on the rebuild include a switch to a quick fuel carb and bump in ci to 505.
    Bravo X drive with 26p 4-blade.
Mid 70's boat with GPS Top Speed of 74.5mph.
Engine is fresh and needs nothing, runs like a top without a hiccup, very impressive and excellent running set-up.
    K-planes
    Steering Stabilizer
Updated Gaffrig Gauges (I have a GPS Speedometer also not installed yet)
    Garmin Nav
Rockford Punch sound with controls at helm and stern.
    Trailer Included
Simply looking to sell to move up in size.
I just had a survey done on this boat end of last summer. Can provide to anyone interested! Transom, Stringer, etc all bone dry! No issues at all with the boat!

$14,500 OBO. Located in SE Michigan. Currently ready to go on the water and enjoy!

That's a mighty fine boat. I think I've seen it multiple times up at Desmond. I live in port huron during the summer. I've probably seen that Trans Am too.
    Good luck with sale/trade!

Man. Wish I was in the position to buy this beauty right now. Had my 91 Rinker captiva 206 out to today. Ran with a 30 foot boat with a supercharged 454. GLWS

I mean I could sell you an assortment of cheap sub $5K valued cars, but I would be doing you and your beautiful boat an injustice. Rusty Firebird, rusty minvan, rusty C/K pickup, decent camaro? lol

                        Free BUMP and GLWS again!

Too bad it was not a 1998 and up Baja 25 Outlaw with an EFI mag engine. That is what I would be willing to trade my mint Brickyard 400 for.

Same Hull as an Outlaw, they just changed the name. Built 505ci over an Efi Mag all day If any interest let me know! Boat has updated gauges, amazing engine, Upgraded Bravo X-drive, nice sound system, an excellent color scheme compared to most Baja's out there! 2 brand new Interstate marine batteries just put in this year. Handles the chop better than any other boat it's size that I've encountered, not to mention 75 mph GPS. Already has Bennett Trim Tabs as well!

The engine sounds real nice but I really need a bigger cuddy door to get my fat but in. The 1998 and up Baja 25 Outlaws have a bigger cuddy door.
