  • FS: 1983 Camaro Sport Coupe Roller $700obo

    Hey All,

$700 OBO for my Mifbody friends!

I am picking up another 3rd Gen in a few weeks here.. and don't need two projects! I have personally owned this car for 8 years. this is one SOLID car, you will be hard pressed to find a car this solid and rust free in Michigan. this car is an 83 Base model sport coupe. it would be PERFECT for a drag setup or a sleeper car. it was originally setup for a 2.8l V6 and 200r4 Transmission. It is NOW currently setup to use sbc v8 (305,350,400, etc) and 700r4 Transmission. my initial plans were to convert to manual transmission setup, but decided that will wait for my next project. so please take a look, I am a little flexible on the price. and open to any offers/questions.

    http://monroemi.craigslist.org/cto/4701751303.html

Here are the pros and cons list for the car.

    Pros:
-Has been kept in a garage for the last 8 years (if that means much)
-No rust on underbody, very little surface rust if anything
-Body and floor boards are SOLID
-Interior floor has been POR-15'd and dyno-matted
-All windows are in good condition
-Has stock IROC front springs, swaybar and V8 motor mounts
-Stock seats are in good condition
-Center Console in good shape (no rips or cracks)
-Dashpad is in good condition (no rips or cracks)
-Center console lid is in nice shape.
    -American Racing wheels
-Updated gauge cluster (still have original)
-60,000ish original miles (will double check and get actual mileage)

    Cons:
-Interior plastics are not in the car, but have 2 sets that I was planning on refinishing and putting back in.
-front driver fender has a dent/damage and would need to be fixed
-rear driver quarter panel has small dent from a tree limb falling on it
-Car will need to be repainted
-Would need door keys remade or lock cylinder replaced (door keys lost)
-Driver door sags a little, passenger door seems fine

    Extra Details:
    -Hard Top
    -Manual Windows
    -Manual Door locks
    -3.23 Open Differential
    -Rear Drum brakes
    -Electronic hatch release works great

Extras that come with the car:
    -Original stock flat hood
-Original and extra set of Interior plastics
-Radiator WITH fan temperature controller (Hayden Electric Fan Controls 3647)
    -Late model dual fan setup
    -700r4 Crossmember
    -700r4 driveshaft
    -700r4 torque arm
    -Original Gauge Cluster

Extras that I may be willing to throw in if the price is right:
    -B&M Megashifter Assembly
    -700r4 B&M Lockup Kit
-Cowl hood (pending sale on this)
-3" Dynomax exhaust to a single in, dual out muffler

There is probably more that I am missing, just can't think of it right now. if you have any questions please feel free to ask. after I get the engine/trans pulled I will take some up to date pics. for now check out the craigslist link!

    -Jeremy

haha, that's the only thing anyone ever asks about! currently the hood is pending sale.. if he doesn't buy it by next weekend.. it will be back up for sale..

its a fiberglass bolt on hood.. I started to smooth it down and get it into primer.. the person wanting to buy it didn't care so I stopped working on it and threw some primer on it where I stopped working on it.. the hood is fine.. a couple small chips.. nothing that can't be fixed pretty easily. the pics aren't the greatest.. took them in my garage.. but you get the idea.

so Here is the deal guys! if somebody on this board buys this car, I'll leave the BRAND NEW black carpet in it (front and rear), that alone is worth some money in itself.. I was going to stick it in my next car, but think I might as well go for the original carpet color (not black).. so this is a pretty sweet deal here.. come on guys! bump!
