  • For Sale: 98 Z28 and 04 SRT-4

I don't have to sell, but I'd rather have some free space and put money towards a house.

    1998 Z28 Bright Red
    -126k on the body
    -Hardtop
-LQ4 w/ 224 cam, 317 heads with Comp 918 springs and .040 gaskets (motor had less than 36k miles, I 320 grit flex honed the bores, piston skirts were molybdenum coated, new moly rings)
    -BBK stainless longtubes
    -Hooker Aerochamber exhaust
-Worked 4L60E, about 10k on clutches (TCI, they said they are good to 750hp...take it as you will) and ~500 miles on upgraded hard parts (reverse drum and Alto wide band, beast shell, 13 vane pump kit)
-TrueTrac posi 3.42 rear (non TCS car)
-BMR front and rear sway bars
-Eibach LT1 Pro Kit lowering springs
-New front shocks and upper mounts (Gabriel and Moog I believe)
    -Leather (upper driver seat ripped)
    -Street tuned with HP Tuners
-AC system recently flushed, new dryer and PAG oil installed, vaccuumed for an hour and recharged with 24oz of R134a.
-C5 Z06 Replicas with mismatched tires or Eagle 077's with brand new Nankang tires (pick one set)

    2004 SRT-4 Flame Red
I purchased this car with 136,001 miles. It just rolled over 148k.
When I purchased this car I installed:
    -Internal billet shift selector
    -New clutch
-Shift fork with stainless steel rub points
    -New OEM struts/shocks/mounts all around
    -New front control arms
-New engine mounts w/ aftermarket inserts
    -Passenger CV shaft
    -Driver side wheel bearing
-Rebuilt turbo that was balanced by Michigan Turbo (for peace of mind)
    -Kenwood eXcelon stereo and speakers
    -New OEM floor mats
-Currently has a DiabloSport intune, 16-19 psi. Will remove tune for a reduced price.

    Asking 5,000 each.

Man, one year too soon. I'd take that skittle in a heart beat if my lease were up. My backyard is starting to look like a junkyard.

You sure you don't want to work something out? I can include cash. If you move all 3, you'll have made more than just with the two......and houses are expensive.

Honestly, I just want them gone and cash in my pocket. I don't want another car to work on and then try to sell that too.

It would be an absolutely terrible winter car.

Harder to sell a driver 3rd gen than it is a late model 4th gen at this point in time. If it doesn't sell this year it will be parked (as it is now) until spring.

You'll have a def. buyer in the springtime if it lasts that long.

I want to add that the car isn't perfect, paint needs work, but I didn't spot a single area of rust underneath while doing the drivetrain swap.

A few nibbles so far. I haven't listed on CL or any FB groups yet...that's a lot of hassle I really don't have time to deal with

4th gens are depreciating in value, they're the new 3rd gens.

All I want now is the IROC, Bel Air, truck, and a place to call my own (to bring 18 year olds back to*)
