good luck with sale.. nice car.. but not to rain on your post.. but Jason just had a 99 hawk really low miles.. that the motor was just redone with 500+ hp and brand new paint job ..extremely mint car .. was askin around that 20,000+ had it for sale since last fall.. and finally just sold it a few weeks ago for less then 16,000 was looking at buying it .. as I would like to buy yours as well.. the issue is the banks.. they don't consider a firehawk worth anymore then a regular t/a as a loan .. got to love those banks that only look at the numbers the computer tells them.. lolOriginally posted by slowbird780 View PostThank you

Well this will probably open a whole can of arguement. But nada has the firehawk listed under classic cars and mine books at 23k. His was a 99, mine is an 02 which we all know is the last year. My car has never been painted, nor wrecked. The whole engine and rotating assembly is original but not the heads and that engine just happens to be an ls6 block which is kinda cool considering the amount that got that block and this one just so happens to be a firehawk. The rear end in the car jason sold was a stock 10 bolt which in an m6 car will never ever live with the power that engine was putting out so whoever bought it had to consider the fact they would have to spend 3 grand on a new upgraded one. I think his car had in the 76k range on miles. Those are some of the things I noticed when he was selling it cause I watched the build and the sale. But ya the banks are retarded when it comes to something like this. Sorry for opening a huge debate lolLast edited by slowbird780; June 19th, 2014, 10:00 PM.

It's doable, but you'll need to do some homework and get a number to the bank. They should be using "Black Book", not "Blue Book" for something like this. Additionally, it's usually an option to spring for an appraisal and the bank will accept that.

You know you want to buy it Brent. Just think of it in your garage next to your 01 Camaro SS. It has the IROC spoiler, lots of goodies, and it is red so you don't have to worry about dusting it off every 3 seconds.Originally posted by OVRKILL View PostI work in Monroe....might have to sniff this out.
