    1997 Chevrolet Camaro 30th Anniversary - 3800 Series II motor - 5 speed Manual - T-Tops - Power Windows - Power Locks - Remote Entry

This is my current daily driver and I am just bored of it. I have fixed everything that I found wrong at all with the car with receipts to back it up. This car averages 28-32mpg on my commute to work. Currently it has 129,875 miles on it. The interior is in mint condition with no signs of wear anywhere. I am the second owner. The previous owner had all service performed at my families repair shop, so I have records going back for 10+ years if required. New clutch put in at 118k miles, AC repaired at 120k miles, all oil leaks and suspension repaired at 127k miles ($2400 in work). Currently the car has brand new snow tires, 215/60R16 Falken Espia tires, they have 200 miles on them. I have the stock intake, however it has a Cold Air Intake to decrease the pumping losses and improve fuel efficiency. It also has HID clear low beam headlamps (6000k) and HID fog lamps as well (3000k), this upgrade was $150. I also have removed the ugly tall antenna and replaced it with a stubby antenna which yields the same reception but cleans the vehicle up significantly. T-tops are in excellent condition. The windows were freshly tinted as well this fall, including the windshield (I have an eye condition). Not dark however as I have not had any issues with police with this vehicle. This is a secondary vehicle for me to park at work while I typically drive a company car. There is not one thing that needs to be repaired on this car, I am not just saying this, I stand by this. For more pictures please email me. I am interested in all trades along with outright sale of the vehicle for $3300 FIRM.

I have a spare hood to replace the current as it is starting to show signs of rust around the hinge and underside, replacement hood is basically brand new. This is included for free. I have any and all original pieces changed on the car and they are included.
Please do not hesitate to email with any and all offers.

Figured a list was in order (over being in the paragraph I typed for craigslist): I will add some interior pics if I get outside today. 12 staples in the back limits me on this....
    All new plugs
    All new plug wires
    All new coils
    All new shocks
    All new shock tower mounts
    All new valve cover gaskets
    All new oil pan gasket
    All new rear main seal
All new rear main cover gasket
All new oil pressure sending unit
    All New Trans Mount
    All New Engine Mounts
    Stubby Antenna
    HID Fog lights (3000k)
Euro Clear low beams to accomodate HID lights (6000k)
    Fresh Window tint
    Brand new Snow tires
Been polish and waxed ~5 times
Need hood to replace one which has common rot around the latch (pet peeve of mine)...

No rush to sell or trade.... so should be around. I will get some interior pics up soon. I am off work for another 7 weeks from back surgery so I can;t really drive it being a manual and all... I will miss the hell out of the T-Tops in the summer!!

Only reason I put snow tires on it is because I am off from surgery so I do not have access to my 2015 Jeep Cherokee for China market I was working on... sad!

My ultimate goal is to trade it for a beat up Marauder that I can fix up as a daily. I miss driving my boosted one so much since I put it away for the winter!

BTW I know my list price is high, its to just keep low ballers away cause this is a very clean Camaro. Original owner was a lady, now me a 30 year old boring diagnostic calibration engineer.

Surgery went well... have 12 staples up my back at the moment. The pain level has gone down significantly... I will send some more photo's tomorrow when I boot up the desktop, that is where all my high res pics are anyways. Finals are no fun at all, so glad I am done and over with that time period in my life!

That might be one of the cleanest V6 cars I have seen in a long time.

Makes me wish I could sell my 5th gen, buy this one and then move everything from Red Alert over to it - this car looks a lot cleaner body wise than Red Alert.

Thanks for all the nice words. I pride myself on keeping my cars clean. This thing has nothing on my Trilogy Marauder.... Working on some interior pics. BTW it has LED upgrades to the interior lighting as well. Also a RAM mount for an X cradle and a RAM mount for a tablet stand. Not sure either will go with the car or not at the same time.

Sorry for snow in the pics.... it is snowing outside and this sadly does sit in my driveway versus the garage.

Also all pics are from late summer early fall, the car looks as it does in the pictures, only difference is that it has snow tires on it only now. I was planning on a set of deep dish C5 replicas for summer set in the spring.

It has been a really awesome daily!!! I put miles on it only becuase I was commuting from Commerce Twp. to Chelsea prior to getting my development car. I tracked my fuel economy and everything else that I could with a tablet running the 'Torque' app. It was wonderful. I run the same stand in my Marauder so that I can use the same tool to log my performance stuff. Anyways thanks for the bump.

Hope someone has a friend or a kid whom would love this car as a starter car! Its solid and I mean it! I am waiting to put the spare hood on until the spring to avoid any and all salt on it. Pics of spare hood to come...

This is from a commute to Northville from Chelsea...

This is from a commute from Commerce to my office in Northiville, so stop and go @ 45mph..

Notice those sweet T-Tops in the reflection Don't mind the nerdy engineer however.
