  • FOR SALE-1998 Z28 A4, NBM

    Hi all...yes it's time.

1998 Z28 with 118,000 miles. K&N, STB, Sportline kit, SLP LM II, adj panhard bar, sub-frame connectors, K & N filter. Repainted by Justin Pace (and some by me) in 2008. Some minor scratches that I will buff out prior to sell. There are a few things that will need to be done. Needs a new multi-function switch, front seats need recovering. AC compressor is seized, but it's been like that since I got the car. I rebuilt the rear end with a new front pinion bearing and seals last year. I've put less than 500 miles on this car in the last 3 years. It runs perfect and is awesome to drive. Not sure what to ask in terms of price, but would I think I'd like to at least get $5k out of it.

Post some pictures, Dan - last time I saw your car was just after Justin painted it and it was at Superfest.

Yeah, I will, gotta get some good ones. It looks the same, the paint looks FREAKIN GREAT when it's all polished up. Also would be interested in trading for a nice camper of equal value, if possible.

Here are some older pictures, I will try to get some others in the next few days. Gotta get the cover off of it and wax her up. The first ones are prior to any body work during my first Superfest in Ypsilanti. The last one was from my wedding after all the body work and suspension was done. Also have different taillights now. You'll notice that there as a dent in the passenger rocker panel, Justin found a donor car that we took the rocker panel off of and we replaced it. I can't count how many hours of sanding/wet sanding we had into the car.

Also, all emblems were replaced with stainless steel emblems, have a chrome billet grille, and rear has stainless steel lettering inserts.

OK, bump with pics I took today. Didn't even clean it after I took the cover off of it, so it looks a lot better if I do. No longer gaging interest...this one is for sale! $5000.Camaro1.jpgcamaro2.jpgcamaro3.jpgcamaro4.jpg

If your Happy with $4500 then go for it, if not wait. Just remember its not the best time of year to be selling a sports car. If you don't take the $4500 you may end up sitting on it til spring.

GLWS. Maybe, I'll have the cash next spring and can purchase it and officially be with the "in crowd".

My thoughts as well. The guy that looked at it was a mechanic and his son looking for a project car. He hooked up his computer to it and everything, said it was a good car other than the problems I noted already. (Front seats, multi-function switch) I don't mind sitting on it til spring...I have a line on some seats for it, too...

I would remove a few of the upgrades and say sold! Then make up the amount by selling the bolt ons, more space and no liability for the winter.
