  • 2000 firebird built to hell turbocharged!

I am relisting my 2000 Firebird I have built over the last few years. I recently swapped to a 6 speed manual and have found this car completely reliable and comfortable to drive. While this sounds great, I have a 3 person family and the car only has front seats... I really don't get to enjoy it with the people I love. I have spent more than double asking price building the car so the price is not very negotiable. I am open to trades also. Let me know what you have and we can talk. Here is the details:

    The Bad:
    · Some cosmetic issues. I planned on replacing the hood as it has some scratches from the hood pins and the very front lip has a crease where my rafters in my garage crunched it when I raised it on the hoist. Also very minor dent near fuel filler. Cannot really see but it’s there.
    ·
    No heating or air conditioning.

    · Only tuned to 10 psi currently. Low boost for this engine as it was built to handle over 20psi, and only has 12* of timing.
    ·
ABS has been removed but I still have to remove wiring harness assembly. (was going to be this winter project)

    ·
Does not cancel turn signal when turning left (petty I know but I don’t want any surprises for anyone)

    ·
Power steering pump recently started to seep out the front shaft seal.

    ·
Cage is not SFI approved. Would need to be removed and a new one put in to pass SFI specification. It will pass most tracks tech though. All my past cars it was any cage is good enough.

I have really enjoyed the car these past 500 or so miles. I finally got to rip it a bit recently and it hooks amazing and is crazy fast. I built it hoping to hit 1000rwhp with the build, and it is completely possible. I have just lost the love for the car and am ready to just enjoy time with my family. All the Brake pads and rotors were just replaced as well as headlight gears, alternator, and starter. Open to trades. Let me know what you have.

If only if only. I would stay in the ls1 world for this.

Yea, sorry guys I posted this a few places last night and must have missed asking price. I am looking for $22,000. I am open to trades and cash also but really just looking to get out of street cars. I am not sure how much power it makes. I never put it on the dyno. I drove a friends supercharged c5 that makes about 500rwhp and has 4:10 gears and my car was on 8 psi at the time and they felt very similar. maybe 550-600 on 10 psi? Legitimate butt dyno guess though...

butt dyno's are not a good estimate.. lol in order to get that asking price , you are going to need to back up these claims.

still didnt answer who tuned it?

That is why I said butt dyno. No idea what it currently makes just know how it feels. In the bad section I put it is tuned to 10psi and 12* of timing. This means a EXTREMELY safe tune that was done by myself with exponential opportunity to make more power. I will not be turning up the boost any higher or adding any timing until there is a dyno and there are no questions to if there is a properly calibrated wideband. As far as needing to post results before selling, cars with similar builds go incomplete on ls1tech often for 18k. Watched a few this month. Currently this car is tuned to enjoy some boost and drive it daily. Anyone who knows these setups knows it can make anywhere from 600 wheel to 1000 wheel when properly tuned. If someone makes me a serious offer pending dyno results it can be arranged.

I don't ride or race my bikes any more they just sit in the garage. Time to move them out to make some room for a new toy

sorry riderman329. I have a..... well, history of making bad decisions on 2 wheels. I am lucky to be alive on several occasions. If i came home with not only one motorcycle, but two, I would be even more lonely because my wife would leave me. Otherwise if you threw in some cash We could talk.
