The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Congratz on the purchase, I got to see the car on Saturday and it's a nice example. The interior is surprisingly clean.
I hope somebody picks up the IROC and makes a project out of it -- I kinda hate to see it all disassembled and sliding towards a date with the crusher.

When the rear end's loose, the car's fast. Loose is fast, and on the edge you're out of control.

Like I said before this car is not going to be parted out or scrapped! I have two paths I am considering for this project. One is to fix the brakes, put new tires on it and drive it. The other idea is to reduce some weight, upgrade brakes, and install a 5 speed manual transmission. But I don't plan to start this project as I have three projects to complete before I can start this one.
You can have my 5 speed if you properly swap mine to an automatic
Thanks for the offer but I am not interested in doing the swap for you. If you just want to trade parts of some form I am sure we could work out something. Or if you just want to buy a automatic transmission kit for a 3rd gen I can put something together.
