Up for purchase is a 1974 Corvette that is in the middle of a restoration. Over $10,000 has been invested into this project.

The Corvette is a 454 automatic, with factory AC. It has a tilt steering wheel as well. The front and rear facias need to be replaced.
*The 454 engine(450hp) and Turbo 400 transmission have been rebuilt and can be purchased for an additional amount.

1974 was the last year for the 454 big block in a Corvette, the last year before catalytic convertors, and the first year for soft fascias. It's not as popular as the 1968-73 Stingrays, but it's still a significant car. Bilsteins and a composite rear spring will give you a great improvement in ride and handling. With that big block, you'd better get the A/C fixed because those pigs get HOT inside! The rear window was removable in earlier Corvettes, but I believe they went to the fixed window in 1973. Reproduction parts are plentiful -- maybe not the cheapest car to own, but except for a small block, you'll probably not find a cheaper Corvette to own. If this were a vert, I'd be raiding my 401K right now.
