This car has been my winter car for the past 4 years. I average around 22 mpg. I sold my 99 Z28 July of 2011 and drove the car daily until about julyish this year until I bough my 08 Fusion. Interior is in pretty good shape, clean you can put your hands under the seats, scrap the carpet and your hands will be cleaner then when they went under there.
The bad: After I stopped driving it my dad drove it to work a few times since his truck broke down. He was on the highway and it started smoking, pulled over and it was leaking trans fluid. Towed it home, couldn't figure out where it was leaking from. topped off the trans fluid and he has drove it at least 6 or 7 times since then with NO issues. It doesn't leave a puddle, it was the only time it has leaked, my guess is trans pan but don't know for sure. It runs, drives and shifts great. I have owned it since around 150,xxx miles. Drivers window doesn't work. I know for sure the motor is good but the window is disconnected from the actuator. Gas door doesn't pop open, you have to manually open it from trunk. Right rear air bag leaks air if parked at a weird incline. Pumps right back up with no issues. Small crack on drivers lower part of windshield, not in your view. There is rust on body, but the undercarriage is still looking good. A/C doesn't work, compressor leaks.
All in all it has been a great car for me. Never got stuck in the worst of snow storms living in the boonies.
Putting it on craigslist for $1000.
