  • FS: tastyZL1’s 2000 Camaro SS 411rwhp M6

    2000 Camaro SS
    411 rwhp
    379 ft-lbs
    86,xxx miles
    M6
    Ebony leather interior

    -Fresh full detail 9/24/12

    The Deal:
Well I have been presented with an opportunity for something which I can’t ignore/pass up but unfortunately it will require me to move on from the Camaro before planned. With an unplanned sale I also regret not being able to finish the small things here and there so I will list what needs attention. Since I don’t have a long window on this opportunity nor have it in the condition I prefer, I’m willing to work with the potential buyer. I’ve put a ton of blood and sweat into her as well as some of my closest friends. I enjoy the hell out of it every time I drive it and there will be extras that come with. Anyway, onto the mods…

    Mods:
-Synergy Motorsports Custom Grind Cam 232/234 .612/.618 lsa
    -LS6 heads and valves
    -Patriot Dual Honeycomb Springs
    -Trickflow hardened pushrods
    -LS7 Lifters
    -LS6 Ported oil pump
    -Double roller timing chain
-Katech billet belt tensioner – black
    -SLP Lid
    -Deleted EGR
-LPP true duals dumped before axel (no cats)
    -Made 411hp/379ft-lbs on Vector’s dyno
    -MSD wires
    -Katech Spark plug insulators

    -Hurst short throw
    -LS7 Clutch

-Front is lowered on KB springs
-Rear is lowered with the hose mod (removed the rear isolators)

    -Halo headlights with 5000k HIDs
    -Gloss Black painted hood
    -Satin Black Berger panel
-American Racing Black Torq Thrust with polished lip (small chip on one wheel and a little curb rash)
    -Front tires – NT05R – 275/35/17 with 70%+
    -Rear tires – NT05R – 315/35/17 with 60-65%+

    The need attention bits:

-Could use an alignment (I don’t drive it enough nor have had the time to get it to a shop)
-Passenger window motor is starting to slow down
-Driver window’s tint has some rips in it
-Engine bay needs a good cleaning and the silver paint on the intake is chipping off (I bought it painted)
-Last year the cleaning crew backed into my rear bumper so it has a scuff, is chipped a little but also has spider web cracks in it and I haven’t had time to get that repainted
-Probably the biggest pain is the previous (brilliant) owner left the drilled out rivets in the bottom of the driver door and at some point one of the must have got stuck in a drain hole, he went to close the door and then chipped the rocker panel which now has rust on it and needs to be repaired. The spot is roughly half the size of a dollar bill and I’ll point it out

    The Extras:

    -Whistler Mod Headlights
-New fog lights (just installed 9/22/12)
    -Starter
    -Stock cam, springs, etc.
    -Stock manifolds and cat
    -SS shift knob

    Price:

    $10,700
As I said up top; I’m willing to entertain offers due to what it needs but this does not mean I’ll take 5K, so no joy rides, tire kickers or trade offers please

Damn Kolin, I love seeing that car at AE all the time.

Hopefully someone on the site buys it so we can continue to see it!

Damn, I will hate to see this car go! Bri2203 got me signed up for MiFBody, but after seeing your car at Papa John's free pizza event and then talking to you about it, I started to get more involved with the forum and with coming out to Woodward, etc. Your car was also an inspiration for a lot of the things I've done to the Red Beast, like the satin black tail panel, the SLP Dual-Duals, the removal of the side rub strips, the hood stinger stripe and the overall SS treatment. Not to mention that your car runs like a raped ape and always sounds awesome!

GLWS -- wish I could buy it myself! And good luck with whatever your new project will be, buddy!
