My mom wants to sell her Honda shadow VLX. she would like $2000 but any reasonable offer is considered. bike has a broken turn signal housing, and a dent in the gas tank but the paint hasn't peeled off. it was a great driver last summer, very reliable and hadn't had any problems with it. bike was winterized over the last winter and put on a bike lift so the tires wouldn't dry out. as of two days ago the bike got a new battery and i let it idle for a good half hour without any problems. today it would try to but wouldn't completely start, i think the carb is just a little gummed up. has an aftermarket windshield and saddle bags. maroon in color any other questions feel free to ask. if the price is too high then set me straight. I'm no bike expert so i don't know prices or anything like that but im not gonna sell it for nothing.

just to help you out on the price i baught my 96 vt 1100 shadow with upgrades for $2800. dont know how much that will help but i figured it would give you a idea or ball park. most bikes that dont start do to carbs. dont go for much becouse of the cleaning and carb balancing thats needed to be done. its not cheap on these bikes. hope this helps yah.Comment
