Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

The way ppl have been since I've put it up for sale, it's possible. Everybody says they want to come look at it, but nobody has.

Maybe broke a$$ ppl shouldn't try to buy cars they can't afford...
Cars dont sell for Blue Book. Everyone knows that. I was gonna leave you alone, but if you directed that comment at me, I wouldn't consider myself a broke ass at all. But you've had the car for sale since July, Fbodys typically sell pretty quick, so maybe your price is a bit high. For reference, I paid $8750 for my 99 SS with some tasteful bolt on's ans about 12k less miles then your car, and none of the "hick-ups" you mentioned. Best of luck.
It wasn't aimed towards you, I was just saying. Nobody has said anything about prices, I've told many ppl make an offer and nobody even comes and looks at it. So I don't really care. I'll keep the car, I'm not hurtin to sell that's the only reason I still have it. If I really needed it gone it would have been sold a long time ago.
Thats sounds like you got a str8 deal for the SS but my car is pushing 400hp ... and like I said "I'm under blue book"

no banks use kbb to check value of a car.. they more closely follow NADA prices, i dunno how close your comes to the price or not, but seriously.. when my car is paid off.. and if you still have it.. I would seriously come look at it haha! ive been dreaming of getting a m6/ls1 trans am for awhile now.
Not up on 4th gens all that much, though I'm learning. What does this mean?
BCM needs re-sottered.
The sotter in the BCM cracks and the car starts having small electrical issues. It happened to my Trans Am. Its about a 30-45min job to repair it with a roll of sotter and a sotter gun.

Ahhh. LOL. SOLDER. Now it makes sense. Hmmm. You know, I have a 4 stage reflow oven at work. I could send it through and reflow the entire unit in about 5 minutes, if this happens again. Should be more dependable, and a tad bit easier.
I understand how it goes, I just finally sold my Blazer after trying to sell it for like 6 months..

Sounds good! and yes I'm still under NADA value which is at $11500

no to hijack, or s#!t talk, but i could barely get 12,000 (nor did i even end up selling it) for true 01 ws6 with 90k on it, o did i mention it had a d1sc, 12 bolt, and all the other goodies? and it made 594 to the tires.. its hard to sell these cars at that price unless they are true ws6 02 low milage stock cars.. just a little fyi.

You rarely get even half your money back out of mods, regardless of how much power it makes.
And you're right, stock cars will always sell quicker...

U guys aren't telling me anything I don't already know. I'm not really trying too hard to actually sell it, b/c I love the car. Only reason it's up is b/c I don't drive it...put about 300-400miles on it this past summer.

If I had an unlimited budget, I'd buy your car and Conrad's SS vert in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, neither car is on the horizon for me at the moment, but that's a very desirable 'Bird...
