  • 1985 Grand National...Low Miles, Will trade for SRT4, S2000, Something cool- $8400

Hi, I have a 1985 Grand National that I may be looking to trade or sell for $8,400. I had an Fbody guy point me in this direction because he said we've got a few GN lovers on here! It has 80k on the odometer and mechanically runs perfect. Could use some work, just patching two small rust spots on bottom of doors and could use a respray but I was able to get the paint to still shine. Paint has a lot of imperfections however you can only see them from up close. At night it looks great though. Brakes have the common GN problem of being squishy but can still drive on the street. Dash flickers and has no radio, just a small electrical problem that can be fixed with some tinkering. However I would trust this car to drive to California and back, you could even daily drive it.

It scores a 23 out of 25 on carfax and has only had 3 owners in its lifetime before me. No accidents or reports ever in its lifetime.

Don't get me wrong this is a bit of a project car, but I am in need of a new Daily and really want an s2000 or evo but would consider nice srt4s

Looking to trade for srt4, s2000 mostly!, evo, Anything cool can't hurt to throw out an offer

Why on earth would you trade that for a SRT4 or a S2000?

I'm looking for an s2000 or selling it because I'm looking to get a new daily. I'm in Bloomfield Hills, I haven't had the car for too long. Had hopes to do some work to it but plans have changed and now need a new daily.

Any reason as to why the header panel looks like it's a completely different shade of black from the rest of the car? And any interior shots?

                    Got me.

I'd say an SS/TC Cobalt would be a far better daily driver...perhaps I'm biased

But seriously - GN for anything other than another muscle car is not a good trade IMO.

Looks like a good car though, good luck with the sale!

For a few seconds I thought, In some ways I would prefer a grand national but I don't think I could let my Tuner go because it is too much fun and realitely efficient.

Good Luck with the sale, If someone buys my corvette I will consider this project.

That it is. I was more speaking that SS/TC was a better DD than an S2000, Evo or SRT4.

Absolutely Love G-bodies. In my opinion, they are part of the last surviving musclecars.
                              How is the undercarrriage?
It does not appear to have T-tops, is that correct?
