Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Rae sent me the VIN and Todd's going to run the build sheet on Monday. Rae will know for sure if it's an SS or not then - he doesn't want to advertise it as something it's not, so he's just as curious.

I was driving around Leslie this morning and saw the car on the side of the road, a little bit from down town leslie. Regardless of what the car is or what work has been done it looked like a beautiful car.
Should have stopped by, I could have fired her up for you and introduced you properly. We pulled it out and washed and waxed her up yesterday.
and thanks again for Helping out on this Brian. Being a big time stang man, this is all new for me and never thought to question it or knew what to look for.

Thanks, for the positive attitude and not getting your feelings hurt over peeps questioning your car.
Odds are its a Z28 somebody tried to make into an SS.

no worries at all, would much rather know than to have someone pay high dollar thinking its something its not, Im sure the value is about the same but would much rather not sell it under false statements.
edit: yeah just checked BB on Z28 only and sadly its only a $450 difference lol.

Go to a GM dealer and give them the VIN. I was able to get all of the RPO codes for my 96 Trans Am
I think GM recently updated their system and ruined it. Todd works for a GM dealership and said he couldn't get any information on the car. The GM Warranty website only goes back to 2000.
Imo its still a beautiful car...I love the color,If I didnt just get done building my z28 over the winter and buying a 97 camaro today,That car would be sitting in my garage...Maybe after Phil gets done tuning my z28,I may sell it to buy this car..

Thanks for the effort Brian. I did have success with a sale, guy coming from Wisconsin to pick it up. I did explain to him that there was a chance it was only a Z28 and not the SS so it wasn't a false sale just incase. his words "eh nobody will know if they only see the taillights". If one of you guys can just admins can just go ahead and delete this thread out. Thanks again all.
