  • 1998 Ford E-150

My dad is selling his old work van, so I figured I'd post it on here.

    It is a Silver '98 E-150, 4.2L V6, Automatic
    141,520 miles
    Gray Cloth Interior
    Power Doors, Windows and Mirrors
    AM/FM Stereo

    The good:
Full rack setup (worth quite a bit)
    Brakes are fairly new
    Very new tires
Had the rear end replaced a couple of years back
Newer exhaust/cats (done by S&K in Royal Oak, very reputable shop)
    K&N Air Filter
Body is in rather good shape, rust-wise.
Code-Alarm car alarm and remote start
    Passenger Airbag cutoff

    The bad:
    Driver rear door is dented
Surface rust on front and rear bumper
    Cracked windshield
    Driver mirror is cracked
Some holes on the door panel from where tweeters were mounted
AC doesn't work (heat works great)
Pretty sure a lower intake gasket or head gasket is going - blows white smoke. As soon as this was observed, the truck was parked and my dad got a different vehicle.

    He'd like $2000 OBO

Feel free to post here, message me, text me or call for more info.

And yes, the back is messy, it's basically a big toolbox right now.

all that stuff in the rear is removable right? to basically be a big open van? runs and drives good? My dad could use a better work vehicle.

Yeah, you could probably make a good deal of money on the entire rack setup.

It drove fine - but I'm pretty sure the intake or head gasket is shot, burns coolant. Nothing in the oil, fixable, but that's cause we stopped using it as soon as it happened.

Remove the racks in back and this would be a perfect van to live in down by the river
seems like a good deal, good luck with the sale
