  • 1994 Firbird Formula LT1 6-speed T-tops

I just bought this car spur of the moment. I had thoughts of making it a 12 second DD, thoughts of putting the transmission in my chevelle and thought of making it a winter car and offing it in spring. The car needs some TLC and I like small projects, but I have a few things that are more important than car project at this time.
    Bottom line $1850.

    Details
    1994 Firebird Formula
LT-1 alminum heads with 95,000 miles (201 on body)
    opti replace this past summer
    6-speed manual transmission
    17" chrome wheels
    T-tops
K&N air filter with aftermarket intake elbow
aftermarket exhaust -no cats (check engine light)
    full tank of fuel.

I just installed new head lights for it (passenger side motor makes noise)
Needs tires, I was going to buy tires for it but the next owner might want different wheels.
    Passenger side window motor inop
    turn signal stalk broken
    drivers fender damaged

$1850 for anyone on MIfbody I think that is a great buy. It could easily be parted out for 3,000+.

I might be interested. Was a used motor put in the car, where was it purchased? Headers or cats poked out and back. Whatever details you have would be great. I was lookin for a motor for my 96Z but a T56 would be great.

Hell of a deal here. This would make a perfect autocross car.

I am SHOCKED I still have the car! If if doesn't sell in the next couple of days I will fix the window motor, start shopping for tires and start driving it while considering it stripping it out and making it an autocross car.

I should really part the car out!

If I were in your shoes id be selling the entire interior and be getting some practice on my roll cage building skills lots of parts you dont need for racing there... Could be a free race car!

              I am tempted as well,
Who wants to buy an interior?
I wish I didn't sell my salad shooters

Are those aftermarket crap wheels? Or what's the word on those.

Yes the wheels are aftermarket 17s.
If it doesn't sell by Monday I will likely buy new tires for $300
and install a window motor which is $50

Then I will start driving it and I can decide if I will gut it and make it a fun car or something to sell in spring

I thought answered your post but I guess it didn't get posted.
As you see can see in the picture the car does not have headers.
Per my description "-no cats (check engine light)" it does not have a catalytic converter
I was told the motor was removed from a Corvette with 86,000 miles and installed in the firebird 10,000 miles ago.

The car is CHEAP and could easily be parted out for $3500. Like I said before if it doesn't sell by tomorrow I will fix the window motor, and start driving it with some different wheels.

If that is a legitimate Corvette engine - that would also mean the block is a 4-bolt main, which is definitely has some value

Last day the vehicle will be offered at this price. I will buying a window motor and trying to get some 15" wheels/tires to fit temporarily until I decide what I am doing with it. I figure I can make this car run high 12's with a total investment of 3000, which I am leaning towards right now.
