  • 1996 Firebird 3.8l $2200obo

This is the car I bought off joeliusZ28 a little while back, so here it the link to the original thread:
    http://www.mifbody.com/vbulletin/sho...-1996-Firebird

Since I took ownership, the following has been fixed/replaced:
Fixed misfire (new coils and ignition module)
    New Master Cylinder
New front pads and rotors (rear drums have plenty of pad left and were adjusted)
Used abs module with less miles (will be installed in the next couple of days and system will be re-bled)
A/C Fixed (filled with dye with no apparent leaks and is keeping a charge)
    New air filter
    New MAF Sensor

Have been driving as a DD for the last few weeks and every weekend a trip up north of Lansing and back (200 mile round trip) and it drives great. Alignment is good and it does not wander or pull. It gets 25-28 hwy, and average of 22mpg with a straight 50/50 split of city/hwy. Everything in this car works with exceptions to the power antenna and the passenger side window intermittently does not want to work. I am not trying to hide anything, so if you have a question, please ask.

For those wondering, I did not buy this car with the intentions of selling it. My situation has changed a little bit and I no longer need it. I did not buy this with intentions of making a profit, and unless it sells off Craigslist or in front of my house, I wont be.

I can get this car to Lansing or Flint with no issues, but any further would prefer to meet half way (from 48879)

Hardtop kept me from biting the first time, this would be exactly what I want for a DD otherwise. GLWS

No joke, now that my situation has also changed and I am working again I would probably buy it back from you if the money was there. Those seats were soooo comfortable which is just what my back needs right now. Sadly however, im a couple paychecks away from being able.

Good luck with the sale. It doesn't bother me at all that you are selling it, I am just glad the car was able to make a full come back. I think your price is very fair.

Bump, finally got the ABS module put in and bled, also bought a new passenger side caliper because of a broken bleeder screw. System ways re-bled and works much better now.

I can get pictures this weekend, all I have right now is on here. Let me know what you guys decide, as I can imagine it would be a little easier for me to bring the car over to Flint for you guys.

The interior is MINT on that car for being high mileage original. Its a large part of what sold me on the car when i bought it. Here's a pic I took of it right before I sold it to Jentry.
